Empowering Education: Our Contribution to a Rural School in Argentina

Updated: Sep 19, 2023

At 360 Apartment Renovations, we value the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Today, we're pleased to share a heartwarming story that has touched us deeply. It 's about our recent donation to Escuela 63 “Los Nacimientos," a rural school in Los Medanitos, Catamarca, Argentina. Join us as we explore how this initiative has brought positive change to a deserving community.

This school caters to 10 children ranging in ages from 4-10, and is supported by a dedicated team of 6 educators who work diligently to provide a comprehensive education to these young learners.

Our decision to support this school aligns with our values of transparency, integrity, honesty, and respect for others. It was driven by our desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

The donation we made included two top-of-the-line MacBook computers and a significant monetary contribution. This financial support will cover the children's food and classroom needs for the next year. The school's director, Jennifer Quispe, receives a modest monthly allowance from the government, making it challenging to provide proper nourishment for the children. We're proud that our donation will help ensure these young minds are well-nourished, which is crucial at this early stage of their development. Additionally, we provided a wood-firing salamander stove, addressing the school's lack of heating or air conditioning, especially during the harsh winters.

In a conversation with Julio Hartstein, Co-owner of 360 Apartment Renovations, he shared his thoughts on the initiative: "This action aligns with our company's values, and we're committed to continuing our support for worthy causes like this one. We've deepened our connection with the teachers and children of Escuela 63 Los Nacimientos and plan to return next year to explore further ways to assist."

During a recent interview with Jennifer Quispe, the school's director, she expressed her appreciation for the donation. The children are already benefiting from the MacBook computers, using them to write stories and explore the world of technology. It's been a meaningful experience for all involved.

Our donation to Escuela 63 “Los Nacimientos” is a testament to our dedication to making a real impact in the lives of those less fortunate. We've provided essential resources and strengthened our connection with this remarkable community.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in making this initiative a reality. We eagerly anticipate continuing our journey of support for Los Medanitos, Catamarca.
